Anyone can learn self-compassion!
Mindfulness helps us develop self-awareness, remain calm in conflict and develop opportunities for authentic communication. The focus of the workshop will be on the science of Mindful Self Compassion and its relationship to mediating and tools designed to help you respond to difficult moments and stress in your life with kindness, care and understanding.
Objectives of the Workshop:
- Improve your ability to stay present during difficult conversations
- Motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism
- Handle difficult emotions with greater ease
- Cultivate positive states of mind like gratitude, kindness and compassion
No previous experience with mindfulness or meditation is required to attend this introduction to MSC.
Jill has worked extensively in both private and public sectors, including with academic institutions, social service agencies and in the corporate context for over 25 years. Jill is a Trained Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher in the program developed by Germer and Neff and is in training with the Stanford Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) program.
